Hvar Riviera

Sucuraj Resort

Sucuraj Panorama

Sucuraj is a small tourist and fishing village. It is situated on the eastern cape of the island where the island Hvar comes very close to mainland. It is located on a marvelous decor, which is made by the hills of Biokovo, the peninsula Peljesac and the Adriatic Sea.
The climate is very pleasant: the summer is long, hot and pleasantly dry. The summer winds, “maestral” and “tramontana”, are pleasantly refreshing.
Swimming is possible from May to November.
Sucuraj is surrounded by the sea from 3 sides and it has many beautiful beaches and bays.
The main beach "Cesminica" is only 200 m away from the center.
The bay Perna, 1,5 km away from the city and the bay Mlaska, 3 km away from it are unique rarities on the Adriatic Sea because of the fine sand on bottom of the sea, which cannot be found anywhere around.
Not so far from Sucuraj you can find beautiful beaches and bays where you can enjoy your privacy.
There are a couple of restaurants, taverns, bars and markets, news-stand, souvenir-shop, post office, infirmary, ATM, tourist-info office, hotel and car-camp, etc. Sucuraj is the right place for those who really wish to rest far away from noise and traffic.
All of this, including the private accommodation in apartments, pensions, rooms, and holiday houses, you can find very near each other, so that you can leave your car to rest as well. The campers find their place in the autocamp 'Mlaska', while the yachtsmen can stay in the Sucuraj harbour. There are also ships at your service that make one day trips to Makarska Riviera, peninsula Peljesac and island Korcula.
